GO-MOBIL® is Austria's largest and multi-award-winning non-profit mobility model for rural communities with insufficient local public transport (ÖPNV).
The inventor and founder of GO-MOBIL®, Maximilian Goritschnig, is the sole shareholder of GMZ. The concept, certification system and brand are his intellectual and protected property. The management of GMZ is the responsibility of Dipl.-Ing. Manuel Goritschnig. As the sole owner of all exploitation rights, the GMZ is the contractor of the Province of Carinthia. Its tasks are the operational development and certification of the GO-MOBIL® associations in the rural communities. All tasks that are the responsibility of an umbrella organisation are performed by the GMZ. The decentralised tasks are the responsibility of the local GO-MOBIL® associations.
